"There is a disease running rampant in America, it's called apathy. The most important thing
that a citizen can do in our country is to VOTE!" - Hawk Levy
Independent businesses can make a difference.
Being citizens, it is our duty to make changes that we believe in. We must do our part to ensure that the choices we make are ones we believe in, as this is arguably the most important election in American history. Join us as we close our businesses for two hours on November 6th, 2012 to encourage our employees to vote during this upcoming election.
Set an example and close your doors for two hours on election day and make it easy for your staff to vote. In today's real world both partners in a household work, making it is difficult for them to go out and cast their ballot. In a small straw poll we found the primary reason for not voting was the difficulty families had getting to a voting booth due to their work schedule. As independent business owners, isn't it our duty to ensure ease and access to voting?
By closing your independent business doors for only two hours, you are leading your staff in the right direction by bringing easy access for them to vote.
